After graduation I attended Cosmotolgy school in Mesquite, Tx and Lamar, Co. I also attended Lamar Community College for 2 years and currently hold a Vacational Certificate for Nursing. I worked in the Alzheimer's Unit for Southeast Colorado Hospital for 7 years. Now I am currently employed at Southeast Colorado Vet Clinic in Springfield. I have been a Girl Scout Leader, Kids Khoir Director @ church, Director of the Melon Miss Pageant for 5 years, and served on the Miss Baca County Pageant Board for 8 years
I married a hometown boy, Howdy Huffman, on March 25, 2000. We have 3 children. Kelcie who is 14, James (J.D) who is 12, and Hunter who is 11. We love to watch them play volleyball, basketball, cheerlead and swim team. They keep us busy with thier many activities. I love to read, be on the computer, chat with my friends, shop on the net... or just shopping in general!! I also love being with my family, horseback riding, working on the family ranch, walking and traveling.
I take great pride in being the cheer coach for Campo/Vilas. This is one of my dreams that I have been allowed to persue. I took great pride in being a cheerleader for Campo/Vilas and strived to be the best I could be. I expect the same from my girls. Although trying at times, the girls always know how to bring joy to your heart even after a "not so great" practice.
Go Patriots!!!
