Debra Hall Ownbey
History
Debra Hall Ownbey is a native Coloradoan from Fort Morgan and moved to Baca County in 1990 as a special education teacher at Vilas School. Since then, she’s also worked as a principal, school psychologist, and director of special education services. While Debra enjoys teaching history and college-level dual credit classes at Campo School, she is a published author who spends her off-school time writing western romance novels to appease her inner Muse.
