| Debra Hall Ownbey English
Debra Hall Ownbey is a native Coloradoan from Fort Morgan. She moved to Baca County in 1990 to work as a special education teacher at Vilas School until 1995 when she took the job as special education teacher and principal at Campo School. Three years later, she went to work at Southeastern BOCES as a school psychologist and the position as Director of Special Education Services soon followed. In the fall of 2006, Debra returned to Campo as a long-term substitute for secondary history then changed disciplines in 2008 to teach English, journalism, creative writing, and several dual credit college college level classes. Debra is also a published author who spends her off-school time writing romance novels. | |
